Note, this box also contains a written list of slides that bears little resemblance to the contents of the box - it is likely that this list was used simply as packing material.

Certificates of disrepair were issued to tenants and allowed them to refuse any rent increase by the landlord until necessary improvements to the property were carried out. Some files include paperwork concerning the remedying of defects and applications by the landlord to cancel the certificate of disrepair.
