Outgoing correspondence from the Clerk of the York Poor Law Union to the Local Government Board.

Note that these are wet copy letter books and many of the letters are difficult to read owing to the poor quality of the copying process.

These letterbooks are not indexed.

Registers of staff service compiled principally to record superannuation payments. Includes name of staff member, office/position held, salary, dates of commencement and termination of service. May also include particulars of previous service.

Note: these volumes are dated according to the commencement date of staff, however there appear to be a small number of entries outside the covering dates. All volumes are indexed by surname of staff member.
