This collection comprises documents, correspondence, volumes, photographs and physical objects created by and relating to the Kleiser family, and related families (particularly the Cundall and Potter families), as well as to the Kleiser clock and watchmaking/jewelers/silversmiths business. . Much of the material relates to York and Yorkshire, but there are references to other national and international locations.
Includes notes in biro, which dates their creation to the mid to late 20th century, most likely pre-1989.

Some spaces where photographs have been lost prior to deposit. Photographs are in black and white.

Black and white photographs of individuals from various families linked to the Kleiser family. Names include Potter, Richardson, Kerous, Pool, Allison, Smith, Biscomb, Winterholden, Whittaker, Valentine, Dindale, Rodwell, Shillito, Moore, Morris and Collins. Other photographs provide only first names for the subjects. The Potters were connected to the Kleisers by marriage. The Shillitos and Moores weere connected to the Cundalls by marriage.
