Plan, section and book of reference accompanying the first York & North Midland Railway Bill, which received the Royal Assent on 21 June 1836. The plan is for a line commencing within York city walls, near Tanner Row, and terminating at a junction with the North Midland Railway in the vicinity of Altofts.
