Sans titreMost of the images are photographic prints created by J W Knowles and Sons and pasted ont blank postcards. Many of the images appear elsewhere in the glass plate negative and photographic print collection, however these copies also contain explanatory notes. A large percentage of these images do not contain captions, however they are likely to be of stained glass in York Minster and other churches.

The images are generally details or panels rather than full windows.
