Sem títuloMost of the images are photographic prints created by J W Knowles and Sons and pasted ont blank postcards. Many of the images appear elsewhere in the glass plate negative and photographic print collection, however these copies also contain explanatory notes. A large percentage of these images do not contain captions, however they are likely to be of stained glass in York Minster and other churches.

The images are generally details or panels rather than full windows. Also includes details of stained glass techniques and condition, and copies of stained glass window designs from books and secondary sources.
Sem títuloThe images are not identified however the numbers on the reverse of some images appear to be panel numbers. It is possible that these images relate to one or more of the windows in York Minster, most likely the St William window.
