The illustration's title is 'The Grand Staircase, Hardwicke Grange, near Shrewsbury'. It also names the illustrator as 'E. Risdale Tate, Wandsworth, London, SW' and the recipient as 'F. Bibby Esqre'. Bibby is thought to be Frank Bibby (b. 1857) who owned the property. Edwin Risdale Tate (1862-1922) was born and educated in York, and he was an architect, artist, antiquarian, archaeologist, illuminator, photographer, and graphic designer. Glass plate negative.
