Hand-drawn plans of various streets and areas in York, showing the names of occupiers and business use of properties as at January 1782. The drawings were completed by Dr William White.

Includes 15 sheets which have been later bound onto a cloth sheet. The sheets include those showing Ouse Bridge, Low Ousegate, High Ousegate, Pavement, Hosier Lane, Coppergate, Spurriergate, Nessgate, Castlegate, Castlegate Postern Lane, the Road to Fulford, and Fishergate.

Photographs of the maps can be found in PHO/2/111 and PHO/3/1835.

This volume consists of William White's notes on various events in York, including the Relief of the Poor, weather, the election of sheriffs and meetings of charity school committees. It also includes drawings of York streets, with detailed descriptions of who and what occupied certain buildings.
