Black and white photo of stained glass window from Saint-Sulpice. On reverse is a note from Jean Lafoud(?) thanking JA Knowles for gift of paper on the West window of St Martin Coney St, giving new address in Paris and inviting JA to stay when next in Paris. Dated July 17th 1953.

Colour photo of two panels from a stained glass in Canterbury Cathedral: The Adoration of the Magi and The Wise Men warned not to return to Herod. On the reverse is a note describing window as 'most magnificent in England'. Postcard has not been posted, has no signature or postal address, but the note addresses a 'you' - presumably JA Knowles? Handwriting appears to be GH Kenyon's - see KNO/24/1884.
