Volume of handwritten notes, black and white photographs, newspaper cuttings and original sketches relating to the stained glass in York churches. Arranged alphabetically by church, the volume covers All Saints North Street, Bedern Chapel, St Cuthbert's, St Denys, St George's RC Church, St Helen's, Holy Trinity and St John's.

Reproduction of a press cutting, with text advertising sale of the Property of the Marquis of Landsdowne, including 'a remarkable stained-glass window in five panels. Photo captioned 'a stained-glass window with effigies of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York and Royal Arms, sale March 26'. Date (1920) and further information ('sold for £360. (Cautrey?).
