Index of individuals appearing in weekly outdoor relief lists for same period (see PLU/3/2/1/279 onwards)
Includes bundle of correspondence relating to claims for relief
This volume records only a list of numbers (probably case numbers) and a small number of names. The register appears to be a draft version or incomplete working record.
Relief order books were kept by the Clerk of the Flaxton Out-Relief Union.
The book records orders for out-relief granted by the Guardians in response to applications put forward by the Relieving Officer.
Details entered into the books may include: name of applicant, name of parish/relief district; quantity and description of relief; and how many weeks relief was granted.
Note that books were dated in quarterly periods. For example, Mar 1910-Sep 1910 = quarter ending in March to quarter ending in September.
Note that the title on the cover of this volume reads ' Abstract of outdoor relief list', however the volume has been used to record relief in kind figures.
Also includes two loose, completed appointment slips for the Medical Officer
Prescription slips for individual patients subsidised by the Public Assistance Committee. Includes name of patient, address and medicines prescribed.
