Notices served to owners, occupiers and lessees of the application to the Local Government Order for a provisional order for compulsory purchase to improve the Castlegate and Water Lane area. The notices include the names of the occupiers, owners and lessees (where relevant), a description of the property, and the plan number of the property. See also Y/PPT/2/3/3/6 for owners replies.
Comprises inspection records relating to rental properties with certificates of disrepair. The inspection reports record works that were necessary in order to cancel the certificates of disrepair. Certificates of disrepair were issued to tenants and allowed them to refuse any rent increase by the landlord until necessary improvements to the property were carried out. Some files include paperwork concerning the remedying of defects and applications by the landlord to cancel the certificate of disrepair.
Registers of staff service compiled principally to record superannuation payments. Includes name of staff member, office/position held, salary, dates of commencement and termination of service. May also include particulars of previous service.
Note: these volumes are dated according to the commencement date of staff, however there appear to be a small number of entries outside the covering dates. All volumes are indexed by surname of staff member.
