Biographical history

Maurice Kirk was born in York in the 1920s and educated at Nunthorpe Boys School. He served during the Second World War, and subsequently worked for the University of Leeds. His father, Archibald Kirk, was Lord Mayor in 1963.

50 single sheet and booklet programmes for musical concerts or theatrical productions at York Theatre Royal, Joseph Rowntree Theatre, the Odeon cinema and the Rialto cinema; and by York Musical Society, Queen Street Choral Society and the York Co-operative Society Education Department.
