Strensall Local History Group is an informal group of people interested in learning about all aspects of the history of Strensall, York and the surrounding area. The Group holds regular monthly meetings to listen to speakers on wide-ranging subjects, and in summer there are usually two outings/outside events.
A regular newsletter keeps members in touch with developments.

Includes 31 sets of oral history recordings, including original recordings, migrated recordings and transcripts in jpg, Microsoft Word or PDF formats (the format varies by recording so please see subseries level descriptions for more detailed information). Also includes one hard-copy publication produced by the group, and a small number of digital files containing research notes into aspects of the village.
