Functions, occupations and activities
York Hoboes are a walking club formed in 1933 that run monthly coach rambles every second Sunday of the month.
The walks usually consist of a ‘B’ party walk of 6-8 miles and an ‘A’ party of 10-12 miles, everyone walks together with an option of coach pick up at end of ‘B’ party or carry on – you can decide at the time.
Coach usually leaves Hospital Fields at 08.45 ( occasional earlier times for walks further afield) and pick up at various points as per monthly e mail circular. Return to York is normally between 18.00- 18.30. This includes a stop for refreshments after the walk.
Guests are very welcome though it is essential to book by the Thursday before the walk.
