Typewritten letter to Rev. J. Fowler from W. H. Young, Derby. Young commiserates Fowler on his and his family's illness, and admires his courage; he notes that Fowler has bought Kendall's book, and discusses it; since he has moved to Derbyshire, Young has 'gone man [sic] on Brachiopods'; he hopes to 'go with Kendall and the Yorlshire [sic] Geologists up Teesdale at Whitsun'; he comments on how busy he is nowadays; he has bought a big house, and talks about his family; he has to give two lectures at Oxford in July.
