The first paper relates to an ammended signed lease agreement between Lord Mayor Alderman and the Trustees of the York Conservative Club for the 30 year lease of De Grey House, St Leonard's, York from 1st Dec 1931 for £150 per annum (dated 12th March 1931). Within this signed agreement is an attached sketch pal of the club with the adjoining land . This is signed by the Lord Mayor and Town Clerk. At the back of the document is a later part deed of surrender in regards to the land adjoining De Grey premises (dated 25th August 1936). This is between William Boddy, the estate agent Charles Arthur Thompson and Archibald McLaurie of the Trustees of the York Conservative Club and the York Corporation.

The second document is a draft deed of 1936 surrender of land.

This inventory lists Conservative Club rooms with value (sale and replacing) of furniture and fittings coming to a grand total sale value of £436:3:6 and replacing value of £1055:6:6. Within the volume there is also a letter from the said Richardson and Trotter.
