Two plates. First is of the lion and unicorn with 'Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God'. Second shows the lion and unicorn with 'Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, her children rise up and call her blessed'.

The image depicts a woman in a four poster bed being attended to by multiple figures, whilst another woman breastfeeds beside the fireplace. Lantern slide.

John Alder Knowles enlisted as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Land Forces. Also includes a menu card for a dinner of the Cadets of No 5 Officer Cadet Battalion held on 30/3/1917.

Thomas Magnus was buried at the parish church of Sessay in the North Riding of Yorkshire. His epitaph reads, 'Here lyeth Mr Thomas Magnus, arch-deacon of the East Riding in the metropolitan church of York, and parson of this church, which died the 18th day of August, anno domino 1550, whose soul God pardon.'
