Labelled 'Earthquake from North Street [Pryck] of Conscience'. Seventh Sign of Doom the in Pricke of Conscience Window, All Saints Church. The scene depicts an earthquake with buildings falling. Caption below image: 'A Lady's Bedroom Middle Eighteenth Century'. There are labels on the corners of the slide and one appears to say 'Kew', but the other is not decipherable. The image depicts a woman in a four poster bed being attended to by multiple figures, whilst another woman breastfeeds beside the fireplace. Lantern slide.

Thomas Magnus was buried at the parish church of Sessay in the North Riding of Yorkshire. His epitaph reads, 'Here lyeth Mr Thomas Magnus, arch-deacon of the East Riding in the metropolitan church of York, and parson of this church, which died the 18th day of August, anno domino 1550, whose soul God pardon.' Lantern slide.

The volume contains newspaper cuttings and photographs of various storms at sea, as well as handwritten notes on painting seascapes, newspaper cuttings of fishermen and lifeboat men and pencil studies of waves and marine subjects.

Exercise book containing additional handwritten notes and newspaper cuttings about Lord Mayors of York not found in KNO/6/2 and KNO/6/3. The volume was originally entitled 'F J Smart: English and French' and the reverse of the book contains what appears to be school French homework.
