?Plan of York Minster showing five western bays 1400-1420, four eastern bays 1361-1400, and the tombs of Archbishop Bowett d.1423, Wolveden Treasurer d.1432 and Prebendary Parker d.1423; Stained glass relating to martyrdoms, including the Bowett window (?York Minster), the murder of Becket in the fourth window from the east in the South Aisle of Lady Chapel (?Canterbury Cathedral), and a list of martyrdoms.

Volumes entitled 'York Minster Stained Glass'

Volumes of handwritten notes regarding the stained glass windows in York Minster. The first volume is prefaced by the following: 'The following notes formed the first draft for a work on the Stained Glass of the Minster by the late J W Knowles. They were collected, arranged and presented to the Library by his Executors. An amended copy including all his original sketches and drawings for illustration is in the Victoria & Albert Museum Library.
