Peasholme CentreHistoric Building Recording for Burnholm Social Club, Heworth, York.
Benton was born and raised in York and worked on the railways. He signed up to fight during the First World War, and returned home injured in 1918 following the loss of his lower left arm and a bone in his right arm.
