Typescript copies of articles, which appear to have been published. There were two folders of typescript articles, and the first folder was labelled "Effects by George Blake for Magigram: number one". According to annotations on the material, most of the articles were published in the journal Magigram. The second folder also contained a copy of the Ace Linking Finger Rings by Ace Goreham.

These files have been packaged in the same folder, but a divider has been used to separate the material and maintain the original arrangement.

The first folder included material from 28th March 1946 - 10th January 2003; and includes a collection of press cuttings of newspaper and journal articles. The file includes some other memorabilia including a dinner menu from the Society's first annual dinner on 28th March 1946; letters from staff and students at Breckenbrough School thanking the Society for a performance at the school; and a seating chart for the Joseph Rowntree Theatre.

The second file includes material from 1952 to 1995, including newspaper clippings and other memorabilia, such as a 1986 dinner menu for the Society's annual dinner, tickets from the annual dinner from 1964 and 1981, and an event poster from 1995.

The choir memorabilia includes range of ephemera relating to the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir, including histories of the choir; tickets, posers and fliers for concerts and events; correspondence; and some travel memorabilia, such as coach itineraries. The memorabilia also includes two prints from artist David Golding from 'York Tour 2017'. Related memorabilia can also be found in the travel financial accounts and documents (reference: YPC/2/3), and with the file of concert posters and flyers (reference: YPC/6/3).

The memorabilia also includes a 1935 photograph of the choir's original music director Cecil H. Fletcher, alongside a copy of Fletcher's funeral announcement. There are more photographs relating to the choir in the photograph series (reference: YPC/10).

There is a mix of material in the files, from various visits taken by the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir to Münster, Germany, and Lochem, the Netherlands.

The files include various publications, including a copy of the Münsterscher Männergesangverein (Münster Male Choral Society) 'MM Journal' (1992); a commemorative publication celebrating 110 years of the Münsterscher Men’s Singing Association (1999); and a 75th Jubilee magazine for Lochems Mannenkoor (Lochem's Men's Choir) (2010). The publications also include a commemorative publication for Mannergesangvereins Walsum (Men's Choir Walsum) (2004); a copy of '40 Jahre Partnerschaft 1968 - 2008' (40 years partnership) (2008), a book celebrating the partnership between Münsterscher Männergesangverein and York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir; and the travel memorabilia also contains a photograph album of a '40 Jahre Partnerschaft 1968 - 2008' exhibition. There are more photographs relating to the choir in the photograph series (reference: YPC/10).

There are also various newspaper clippings, plus a full copy of issue 23 of the newspaper 'Verbandsgemeinde Mitteilungsblatt' (Union Municipality Bulletin) (2001), with an original photo which has been printed in the newspaper. Other newspaper articles can be found in the file of newspaper clippings (reference: YPC/13).

The files also include documents relating to the planning of various trips, including information sheets, itineraries, correspondence and proposals for the European tour in 2000; a schedule for a joint concert between Lochems Mannenkoor and York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir in 2009; newsletters relating to a trip to Germany in 2013; and an itinerary and welcome booklet from a 2015 trip to 'Chorfest' in Münster; as well as various correspondence and information sheets. Memorabilia from these trips include a cassette tape with a choir members' reminiscences of a choir visit to Münster in 1969; a concert poster for an international concert in 2000; two "Münster und seine Partnerstädte" (Münster and his sister cities) lanyards; as well as photographs, brochures, flyers, programmes, restaurant menus, and city guides.

The files include various photographs of the choir, at events, parties, concerts and contests. Some of these photographs were originally stored together in plastic wallets, where this was the case those photographs have been repackaged in the same envelopes. The loose photographs have been separated into mounted photographs, loose photographs and photographs on paper for storage purposes, but were all originally stored loose in the same box.

This file contains accounts and travel documents relating to three different trips: A trip to France in 2004; a trip to Ayr, Scotland in 2005; and a trip to Colerain, Northern Ireland in 2005. The documents include accommodation arrangements, correspondence and accounts relating to the organisation of these trips.

The file also includes a proposal and quotations for a trip to Germany to take place in 2006. The main accounts for the choir's trip to Germany are included in the file of accounts and documents for the German tour in 2006 (reference: YPC/2/3/4).

The file includes material relating to a visit to York by Münsterscher Männergesangverein (Münster Male Choral Society) in 2009. The material includes a members newsletter regarding the visit to York, guest lists, song lists, accounts, correspondence (mainly print outs of emails) and concert programmes. The file also includes photographs of individuals printed on paper. There are more photographs relating to the choir in the photograph series (reference: YPC/10).

The file also includes minutes from meetings of the National Association of Choirs North East held in January 2009 and March 2009.
