Image shows Ian Winduss who worked for York Corporation (City of York Council) as a quantity surveyor 1949-1954, returning as Chief Quantity Surveyor in 1957 (base in an office at 8 St Leonard's Place). He moved to North Yorkshire County Council, Northallerton in 1974 following the Local Government reorganisation, before retiring in 1985.
