Photo 9” x 6½”. John Francis Steel (1877-1959) of Ancroft Street, Walmgate, later a railway blacksmith’s striker and noted fisherman is figure squatting far right (with white coat over shoulder).

Skelshaw was of George Street, Walmgate. She was a Red Cross Nurse 1914-18 in France and Flanders. She died aged 98 years at Shifnal, Shropshire. Photo 6” x 4”.
