Photographs are of the same scene, but include a close-up view showing the horse tram in more detail, and a wider view showing the street scene. Two of the photographs are captioned 'Daylight' on the back.

York Schools - various primary and secondary, state and independant, some of which have subsequently closed. Includes the Blue and Greycoats, Open Air School, York College, York College of Ripon and York St John, and reorganisation of York secondary education in 1985.

Depicts the house with a car and chaffeur outside. Chaffeur is posing in a large white mackintosh and a peaked cap. Car registration is BY'1314.

Four copies of the monochrome photograph, including three monochrome photographic prints and one printed our copy of the image. The image showing houses in The Bedern and Bedern Hall before their demolition in 1883.

Captions on the back of one of the prints indicates that the images show the North side of Bedern, and that they are copies from a 1925 publication by George Benson 'York from the Reformation to the year 1925'. Captions also include a photographer's stamp for P.W. Hanstock.
