The images are possibly of saints, and could be taken from etchings. The images themselves are very faded.

Marked as poor negatives.

Includes one catalogue to the permanent collection of pictures in City of York Art Gallery, 1907; and two catalogues for Design and Handicraft exhibitions held at City of York Art Gallery and Museum, Exhibition Square, 1923 and 1925.

Label behind the reference number not visible. Photograph shows a narrowing of the river, caught between sheer drops on either side. Lantern slide.

There appears to be a hinge on the righthand side, suggesting this is a lid. But there are also four feet, which suggests it could be the base of something. There is an elaborate design at the centre of the piece. Lantern slide.
