Volume containing newspaper clippings, letters, loose bills and pamphlets. Many of the newspaper clippings relate to Wesleyan Methodists, and specifically to the constructure of the Methodist chapel in Clarence Street, York. Clippings about local drapers and busisnesses, famous individuals and notable York inhabitants are also included. The newspapers clippings give no indication of which newspaper they originated from. Inserts include the Weslayan Methodist Ministers' & Local Preachers' Plan, 1873.
