      Angelo Raine was Rector of All Saints, Pavement, Church.in York and was Honorary Archivist to the Corporation.
      He published a detailed topographical survey - "Medieval York" in 1955.
      He also collected together and copied notes from his father James Raine's diary on his observations of the excavation work done during the construction of York Railway Station.
