The York Work-People's Hospital Fund supported the York County Hospital by collecting small subscriptions from working people through their workplaces. Workshops, firms, departments, shops, warehouses, offices, friendly societies, trade unions or any association or organisation could become part of the York Work-People's Hospital Fund if they subscribed the sum of 10s. 6d.
