Scope and content
Poole's Select Pocket Remembrances. Includes pre-printed almanac information and blank pages include a space to be completed for every day of the year. The majority of these pages have been completed, with notes made every day about the activities of the owner, including personal and family occasions, visits and trips, business events, notes on church visits, and the payment of bills and accounts. Also includes some lists of cash accounts.
It is not clear to whom the diary belonged. The name 'Thos Nunno, Farrier and Currier, Linlithgow' has been written into the front of the volume, however it is clear from the diary entries that the writer was based in and around York, and that they are likely to be a member of the Cundall family.
