This collection currently comprises one volume of drawings, primarily created by Edwin Ridsdale Tate. Also includes family papers regarding George Benson, such as genealogical information, passports and family pedigrees.

The volume was collated by George Benson and includes sketches and drawings by a number of artists, most notably Edwin Ridsdale Tate. Other artists whose work is included in the volume include Edwin Scott Ridsdale, J W Tate, A J T Ogden, D A Walter and C Triffitt, and engravings by J MacGahey, Francis White and W Harvey.

Boxes of printing blocks, with copper printing plates attached, used in the production of works by George Benson. Most are wrapped in paper, and some have badly faded pencil descriptions on the outside, whilst others have full printed captions.
