Includes 3D printed objects, interpretation of the objects by York Learning English Move On class learners and blog entries by Tech For York. The theme of this activity was clothing and this collection acts as a snapshop in time for clothing as well as 3D printing technology.
English Move OnOral history testimonies and trancript from veterans of the Second World War, discussing their experiences. Includes a number of members of York Normandy Veterans Association. Interviews were held with Douglas Petty, Harold May, Albert 'Bert' Barritt, George Meredith, Ken Cooke, Pat Evans, James Mason, Ken Smith, Ron Goldstein and Jack Millin. Relevant consent for dissemination was also obtained from either the subject, or their relatives if since deceased. These consents are held by the archives service.

Includes published works produced by T P Cooper during his career as a local historian. The publications relate to various aspects of the history of York, including folklore, Dickens, clockmakers and churches. Some of the works are published by local and national printers, whilst other works are in typescript or handwritten form.
Cooper; T P (?-?)The collection of personal and business records of the Swales family, a family Butchers business based in Goodramgate. The earliest document is a Baptism Certificate, which shows the birth of a John Swales in 1853, although the Freemen records mention another John Swales (Butcher) who was apprenticed in 1812.
The main part of the collection features the life of John Thomas Swales, who was born in 1869, and appears to have taken over the family business in 1896. John Thomas became a Methodist Lay Preacher, an influential member of local trade organisations, and was nominated for a vacancy on the Board of Guardians in 1907. The documentation also shows his marriage to Ada Plummer in 1897, and some information on their two children, Hilda Mary (who later became an American citizen) and Thomas, (who carried on the family profession of a Butcher).

At present this collection only contains one commonplace book containing newspaper clippings.
Includes research notes on members of the Fairfax family in the United Kingdom, as well as pictures and photographs, wills, census returns, civil registration copy documents, pictures and photographs of villages with Fairfax connections, war service records and papers specifically related to Robert Fairfax. The records were compiled in the 1990s and 2000s, but use various historical sources to create the Fairfax family trees. Also includes some later correspondence relating to specific family queries.

British ButtonsVolumes of handwritten notes about civic officials within York from the medieval period through to the 17th and 18th centuries. The information in the volumes is arranged alphabetically by surname. Also includes transcriptions of Guild Ordinances, and a catalogue of the mayors and bailiffs, Lord Mayors and Sheriffs, the representatives in Parliament and the Recorders and Town Clerks of the City of York.
This collection consists of project job files and original plans for a variety of different projects undertaken by the firm. Due to the lack of an original structure for the collection, this archive has been arranged by project by the archivist, ensuring that job files and plans for the same project appear together in the catalogue structure. The collection has been catalogued using MPLP, meaning that project files do not necessarily appear in a chronological or alphabetical order. Original reference numbers have been retained when known. Brierley, Leckenby and Keighley, architects.This material includes original case files between 1913 and 1926, and from 1971 to present. There are no surviving case files between 1927 and 1935, and from 1935 to 1971 only summary books exist, giving very basic details of each inquest. All case files have been indexed, but the name index is only publicly-available for inquests held between 1913 and 1926.
