Minute books relating to the operational activities of the York Musical Theatre Company.

Records have been arranged into sub-series reflecting the original record keeping system of the organisation. Until 1980, minutes of both committee meetings and of Annual General Meetings were kept in one series of minute books, and were largely handwritten. From 1980, minutes were typed and kept loose in separate folders, therefore these minutes have been put into separate sub-series. Minutes of sub-committees, such as the social committee, were always kept separately, and as such have been put into a separate sub-series.

The current sub-series are:

Minutes of Committee Meetings, later Executive Committee Meetings, 1980 - 2005
Minutes of Annual General Meetings, annual reports, and accounts, 1981 - 2005
Minutes of Social Committee Meetings and accounts, 1958 - 1976
