Log books for Rufforth Undenominational School. The log books include information about school attendance, upkeep of the buildings, the absences of particular pupils and the names of those admitted to or leaving the school. In some cases the schoolmaster states why the pupil is leaving and where they are moving on to. The schoolmaster from January 1881-October 1882 was J. Thomas Conyers Robson; he returned to the school in April 1883 after an absence of 5 months, during which time James Whitworth was master.

Reports of the Medical Officer of Health to the Urban Sanitary Committee and later the Health Committee. Reports on average were fortnightly but could be more or less regular. Incudes notifications to the Town Clerk of cases of infectious diseases.
