The file includes a memorandum from February 1995 explaining the decision to use information sheets to update members on choir news, in order to reduce the time spent making announcements in rehearsals. These information sheets would be issued to members approximately monthly, and contain information including notices of upcoming events, rehearsals, uniforms.

This file contains information sheets from 1995 to 1998.

The file also includes some other documents. There is a set of minutes from committee meetings held in February, May and October of 1995. These minutes are duplicated in the file of meeting minutes for 1995 - 1996 and 1998 (reference: YPC/1/3).

There are also programmes of events for upcoming concerts; choir newsletters from September and October 1997; a balance sheet for the 1996 financial year; a list of the choir's elected officers for 1995; among other documents.

The files include choir newsletters from September 1997 to June 2021.

Stored with the newsletters were two miscellaneous items: a list of "brochure material" that includes quotes from adjudicators remarks and from the press regarding the choir; and a letter to the vice president from September 1978 regarding upcoming activities and concert dates.

This file includes travel accounts and documents for two separate visits to York by Münsterscher Männergesangverein (Münster Male Choral Society), one visit in 1997, and one in 2003. The file includes itineraries, accommodation arrangements, bills accounts and costings, correspondence and meeting minutes relating to the organisation of the visits.

This material was originally found in two separate files, but the material relates to the same visits by Münsterscher Männergesangverein and has been repackaged into one file.

1997:
Material includes itineraries, accommodation arrangements, meeting minutes, bills, accounts and costings, correspondence, and information sheets relating to the organisation of the visit which took place from 22nd March to 24th March 1997. The file also includes some memorabilia from the visit, including a poster for the twin city friendship concert held 23rd March 1997, and a photograph of the concert. There are more photographs relating to the choir in the photograph series (reference: YPC/10).

2003:
Material includes itineraries, accommodation arrangements, meeting minutes, bills accounts and costings, correspondence, meeting minutes relating to the organisation of a trip which took place from the 12th to 14th April 2003.

This file includes various papers relating to the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir's finances. There is a set of accounts for 1995 which include membership subscription lists, and accounts relating to concerts, administration, room hires, gifts and awards. The accounts come with an index.

Other documents include a list of previous choir vice presidents, inventories and valuations used for insurance purposes, stock lists, details of treasurer responsibilities, correspondence, committee minutes and material relating to performances such as proposed concert programmes and song selections.

1988:
There is a set of committee minutes for the months January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September, and November. There are also minutes for a fundraising committee meeting held in March and a finance sub-committee meeting held in September. There are also minutes for a joint meeting between the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir and the York Railway Institute Male Voice Choir, held in October.

Also in this file for the year 1988 are a quarterly attendance reports tracking members' attendance at rehearsals.

1989:
There is a set of minutes for January, February, March, April, May, June, July, September, and November.

1990:
There is a set of committee meeting minutes for January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September, and two committee meetings held in November. Some of the committee minutes include appended treasurer's reports and agendas.

There is also a set of minutes for two separate special committee meetings held in July to discuss the conduct of a choir member. The file also includes letters to choir members regarding these extraordinary committee meetings and calling for an extraordinary general meeting with members to discuss the issue.

1991:
There is a set of committee minutes for January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November. Some of the minutes include meeting agendas. There are also minutes for an extraordinary committee meeting in June to discuss the resignation of the musical director, and minutes from a general meeting held in December.

Additional documents include a copy of the choir's constitution and a document with proposed amendments to the choir's administration and committee structure.

1992:
There is a set of committee meeting minutes for January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. The file also includes minutes for a forward planning sub-committee meeting in August, and for an extraordinary general meeting held in October to review the musical director's performance.

This file has some additional items including design specifications for a memorial dedicated to Henry Brough.

1993:
There is a set of committee meeting minutes for January, February, March, April, May, July, September, November and December. The minutes include appended documents such as agendas and treasurer reports.

There are some other items in the folder such as an induction sheet for choir members, a choir newsletter, and documents relating to performances including timings sheets for performances and lists of upcoming events.

Some of the minutes have appended documents such as meeting agendas, chairman reports, treasurer reports, and correspondence which relates to meeting discussions.

There are also the minutes for the choir's annual general meeting in 1999. The minutes include secretary's report, treasurers report and musical directors report.

2000:
There are a set of minutes for committee meetings for January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November. Some of the minutes have appended documents such as meeting agendas, chairman reports, treasurer reports, and correspondence which is discussed in the committee meetings.

There file also an agenda for the annual general meeting and meeting minutes for two extraordinary general meetings held in March and April. One held in march was organised to discuss changes to the constitution. The extraordinary general meeting held in April was called to discuss the loss of Kall Kwik's sponsorship. The file includes correspondence to members calling for these meetings.

There are also minutes for several finance committee meetings which include financial reports, music sub-committee minutes and European tour sub-committee minutes. These minutes include a list of sub-committee responsibilities and a note to the choir's committee regarding these responsibilities.

The file includes correspondence, including some emails which have been printed; concert schedules and information, regulations and guidelines for various concerts and competitions; notes on the history of the choir; material relating to meetings such as an undated notice for an extraordinary general meeting, and annual general meeting agendas from 1983 and 1985; proposals for changes to the choir's constitution; and a fundraising proposal from Prince's trust.

There are also photocopies of newspaper clippings from 1912. Other newspaper articles can be found in the file of newspaper clippings (reference: YPC/13).

There is an agenda for the annual general meeting held in 2007 but there are no corresponding minutes.

There are other documents in the file which includes a list of choir rules, treasurer's job description, reports from the public relations officer, meeting agendas, income and expenditure sheets and correspondence.

2008:
There is only one set of minutes for 2008 included in the folder, a set of committee meeting minutes from a meeting in January 2008.

The file also includes some meeting minutes from 2006. There is a set of minutes from the 2006 annual general meeting held in February with an appended chairman’s report. A volume of sketches and coloured drawings made over a period of 60 years showing items purchased by the Loadman family, as well as antiques, museum items, and archaeological finds located elsewhere. Some of the items are labelled in the volume as being in the Yorkshire Museum. The volume includes a drawing of the shops at 5 College Street, 37 Stonegate and Minster Gates which were run by the Loadman family.

The volume was probably begun in the 1890s and continued until the 1950s.

Text from the title page reads: ‘Our Cureo Book. This book consists of sketches of some of the many articles purchased during a period of over sixty years by the Loadman family of York, dealers in curios. Sketches by E. Loadman and H.M. Loadman’.

Also includes: a copy of the City of York and District Family History Society journal, dated June 2013 with notes and annotations about the Loadman family on p. 41; two printed off sheets containing information from the Ancestry and Find My Past websites with information about Thomas Loadman; and a typed copy of a census return for the Loadman family at 37 Stonegate, York, in 1901.
